    Nyaya Darpan Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation providing Probono and Low-cost legal support to vulnerable individuals. Our key focus areas are domestic violence prevention, cyber-crime and cyber abuse, and human rights advocacy through High Court writ petitions. Our litigation practice focuses on matters that are escalated to high court.

    Anyone who has failed to get justice in the lower court and need advocacy support at the High Court, a victim facing domestic abuse, cyber harassment, online fraud, data misuse, or human rights violations can approach us. We primarily support women, children, senior citizens, families of inmates, and individuals without access to quality legal representation.

    Domestic violence includes physical abuse, emotional cruelty, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, and economic violence under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Abuse can occur within marriage, live-in relationships, or shared households.

    Yes. Legal remedies under domestic violence law do not always require an FIR. Victims can seek protection orders, residence rights, maintenance, and counselling through the court without immediately approaching the police.

    No. Domestic violence includes mental harassment, threats, controlling behaviour, financial deprivation, and emotional trauma, even if there are no visible injuries.

    We assist victims of online harassment, cyber stalking, impersonation, identity theft, sextortion, financial fraud, data theft, and social media abuse. We also support cases involving digital evidence and cyber security failures.
    Cyber-crime can be reported through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or directly at the local cyber-crime police station. Our team helps victims draft complaints, preserve digital evidence, and follow up legally.
    Yes. Creating fake profiles, morphing images, sending threats, or spreading defamatory content online are punishable offences under the IT Act and BNS. Legal action can be taken even if the offender is anonymous too.
    We handle writ petitions involving illegal detention, police excesses, custodial violence, denial of fundamental rights, abuse of power, and violations of constitutional protections.
    A writ petition is filed in the High Court under Articles 226 or 227 of the Constitution to protect fundamental and legal rights when no effective alternative remedy exists or when state authorities act unlawfully.
    Yes. Genuine human rights matters involving public interest, injustice, or abuse of authority may be taken up on a pro bono or low-bono basis, subject to case evaluation.
